While growing up at home with a really big houseful of kids my mom always made us a nice german dinner of a good pot roast, sweet & sour red cabbage, potato dumplings with gravy. And for desert she always made baked green apples.
We all loved it. The potato dumplings take some time to make but are worth every minute of it. Us girls would help mom out in the kitchen.
Mom passed away in 1996 and we have all pretty much gone our separate ways. But now that you brought it up I think it is time to go back to the family tradition! Thanks! and have a wonderful Holiday!!

LOL.... I asked a question yesterday concerning not knowing what I was gonna make.... I like stuffing if we have turkey and cheesy potatoes if we have ham...go to the link and add your two cents....thanx

I like to get up and make a big big breakfast. Omlets, Potatoes, etc. This year I am making shrimp for dinner.
