We have this battery operated chirstmas bell. It's clear and red. and it plays little christmas songs. It might have cost 6 bucks brand new. Somehow, this is our number one project at christmas to get it working again. just one more time. It's been soldered, taped, glued, shaken, slapped, and dropped 100 times. Every year we think, there is no way this thing is working. and then somehow... it does. It's so special to me, because of the way my grandmother would laugh at us when we got it going, and everyone would act goofy around the little bell.

Well this is a personal tradition of mine, but I can't feel like it's Christmas until I've watch The Muppet Christmas Carol.

As for more well know ones. Being a Quebecois, Christmas eve is more important than Christmas day.

I love Christmas Eve, I love the excitement of the kids, the family together. We always have it at my house and have lasagna, and my husband goes out to bang on the doors in a red suit and then run into the woods. Leaving a bag of toys on the steps It used to be my dad doing it when I was little... always a good memory!

Getting up before the sun wakes up (as my son says) and opening stockings with him, then before anyone else is awake making breakfast and coffee, then sitting back and reading Luke 14 and watching my son's face go from excitment to understanding as he gets older.... CAN"T WAIT!!!
