What a romantic thing you are doing for your wife! So sweet!

Here are a few suggestions:
I think it is called "Our House". It is by Crosby, Stills and Nash. My father played it for my mother the day we moved into their "then" new house, back in the '70's.
and "Our House" (again) by Madness. Great '80's song.

Have fun!

Michael Bublé- "I wanna Go Home (or come home)"
My husband put this song on when we were going home from the hospital after having our daughter and I just bald like a baby. I hadn't been home in like 4 days.

This is really sweet I hope it comes out well, I'm sure your wife will love it!!

Well there's Crosby Stills and Nash's "Our House (is a very very very fine house)"

Or "Our House" (in the middle of our street) by some 80's band... Madness, perhaps?

Diana Ross has a real good one called "It's My House", from her CD THE BOSS.

And Elton John has a GREAT one called "House", on his MADE IN ENGLAND CD.

I strongly recommend both!

btw... I think your idea is GREAT! Congratulations and best of luck to you!!!
