Artistry insanity have been linked by some and I know at least a couple of musicians I like had mental health problems. I'd be interested to hear the work of others with similar problems.

Daniel Johnston, would be one....he was schizophreinic, I believe. For more on him see the film "the devil and Daniel Johnston" ...incredible piano player.
