First, Glass is basically melted sand or silica. It is actually a liquid that has very very high viscosity so it appears solid.
Glass cleaners are mostly water, sometimes ammonia and surfactants (i.e., wetting agents that allow the water to wet the surface instead of beading up on it)

Well, I don´t know what glass cleaners are made of, but they are probably made of some solvent compound...As for glass, it is made of silicon or basically melted sand, mixed with some other minor chemicals in order to impart resistance on it. Regards, Gabriel.
