Because that's what we do now we blame everything except what is actually the problem and we blame everything except our inability to teach our kids to know right from wrong, rather than listen to the idiots that tell them this crap,( along with many adults ) which is in large part where they get it from.

Who blames rap music? Music is music. People are responsible for making their own decisions.

It's not that rap music itself is to blame for anything. Rather, those who view sexual permissiveness, womanizing and violence as social problems blame rap musicians for promoting these and other anti-social behaviors.
Rap musicians, whether they want the responsibility or not, have a great influence on the culture of our day. When fans see what seems to be a constant barrage of sex and violence coming from rap artists, several things can occur:
- At best, they may become immune to the effects of the behavior. This is certainly the case, as many of today's young people don't see a problem with calling women derogatory names.
- At times the behavior may even viewed as a desirable trait in others, as they are more like the idolized artist.
- At worst, fans may come to view the behavior as socially acceptable, and even begin to promote and mimic the behavior themselves.
The problem does not lie simply in the fact that there are some people who make "irresponsible decisions." The power of charisma is strong, and when undesirable ideas are presented by charismatic spokespersons, even the most lucid and intelligent people can fall victim to this.
The most extreme example I can bring to mind would be Nazi Germany. Many otherwise brilliant people were drawn to facism by the charisma of Hitler. Don't get me wrong - I am not directly comparing rap music to Nazism - but rather am trying to highlight the sort of influence that star power can have over people. And this sort of influence is not limited to rap. Rock mucisians, actors, professional athletes and even our clergy all carry this same responsibility.

i've got not heard this scapegoating in view that invoice O'reilly, and the media's attack of gangsta rap interior the ninety's. Being keen on hip-hop track i will say rap track now a days has extremely penetrated mainstream way of life. because of this exposure to something of usa and its obtrusive effect on youthful youth from each nationality, rap track is an ordinary aim for blame. i think of what has extra of a ability on usa's social ills are a number of the classes that instruct human beings's irresponsible judgements, like decide Joe brown, Jerry springer, law enforcement officers, etc.. those are the classes that in spite of the reality that would mirror human beings's lives and circumstances propagate, toughen and make irresponsible habit appealing, ideal, and portion of the status quo. i think of invoice Cosby makes a stable argument (for those of you who comprehend what i'm talking approximately) e mail me in case you decide on a debate.

They blame it because it's easy. Forget parenting or the psychiatric behavior of the child, it's easier to blame music or videogames. It's called an excuse, plain and simple.

First of all rap is not music.
Music requires talent and quite frankly, screaming rhyming obscenities into a microphone over someone else's background music is not talent.
Although I will concede that it is an art form, just like giving yourself a latex paint enema and squatting it on canvas is an art form.
Rap does nothing except glorify criminal behavior but it does nothing to impair the ability to make responsible decisions. These people are resposible for their own criminal behavior.

No, just the inverse. It is irresponsible people who have made [c]rap "music" so ubiquitous in our society.
Anybody with appreciation for good music should be appalled at it's popularity - it shows a lack of discernment and a coarsening of society.
