I'm 20, and I have next to nothing, I think it is growing in, but it seriously is like 1 more hair every time I shave. I have like 20 dark hairs on each cheek, a decent, but scattered, on my chin. At this rate sometime about 40 I'll be able to grow a full beard :O I do see the peach fuzz clear hair over a lot of areas, but they aren't coming in dark very many places. Do you think I'll ever be able to grow a full beard?

not extremely, in case you want to develop a beard at a early age, say 13 or 14, the reason behind that would nicely be you've seen a guy older than you with an excellent beard and also you want to seem as if him with the help of say the time you're 20. if you're fortunate and develop hairy legs, arm pit and pubic hair round once you're 13 or 14, sometime quickly after that facial hair might want to come besides. if so do not shave in any respect, before everything you'll seem somewhat scruffy, besides the indisputable fact that that section quickly passes with a boy who has a short boom, with the help of 15 or 16 you need to have a life like beard at the same time as going although your college years, with somewhat of luck different adult males would have some facial hair besides, the fad now a days is for most youthful childrens not so shave in any respect until eventually they are 20 or later. So once you've an excellent beard with the help of 20, it may nicely be truly thick my then, its as a lot as you in case you want to shave it off or under no circumstances shave in any respect.

Doesn't sound like it, but why do you want a full beard anyway? I am glad that I only have hair on my chin. Less to shave and never have a five 'O clock shadow. I suppose you could take hormones to help grow more hair but then you might end up with excess hair all over you body and looking like a shaggy bear.

It depends on genetics. Your dad may have a full beard but what about the men on your mother's side or other men on your dad's side? Plus you can never tell when a recessive gene will pop up and change things completely. There's never a definite answer where genetics are concerned. Wait and see. As you get older you may be able to grow a more fuller beard.

Your beard growing ability may not come directly from your father. My father is lucky if he shaves twice a week, while I have to shave everyday or start looking like Bono. Your beard is genetic and could be from anybody in your family. Since it is so scarce, your beard might not ever bee very full at all.

Can a simple beard puts those problems?
Somebody would like to have no hair so avoiding to cut them or for looking younger, while others just need the contrary!
Life always is so strange!
The fact that your dad is hairy doesn't mean you have to be like him! If at 20 you still are so glabrous ..... resign for now please, because only during the old age some hair (white) more will come, maybe!

Maybe you inherited your mother's "beard genes"? Just kidding. I would ask your father what age he was when he was first able to grow a full beard. I imagine it is much older than 20.

Not every guy can grow a full beard...some dudes just don't have the ability to grow full facial hair...you may gain some more as you age but there's no guarantee that just because your father could, that you will also.
