I went to a Nine Inch Nails and a Metallica concert while pregnant with my first child (I think I was about 4 or 5 months along) and he is fine.

I just went to a Tool concert and I am pregnant again (I was about 6 months pregnant). She moved a lot when there was a lot of bass that was so loud you could feel it in your body, and during those times I covered my belly with my hands but everything seemed fine to me.

I have had three children, I aways was concerned about what I breathed and eat, also I remained as stress free as possible, being in a concert environment would be stressful to me, You didn't say what kind of concert, so I am asumming that its a rock concert, and you never know what your going to breath in, or pushing and shoving sort of thing, be careful it you do go, I know this might not make since, but maybe some earplugs would help you to protect your child, I hope this helps you.

Music that is too loud isn't good for anyone. What type of music? Soft and soothing or loud and angry? If you're far into your pregnancy I wouldn't recommend it. The baby will move around a lot, and cause a lot of discomfort for you. It'll feel like they're gonna jump right out of you tummy.

I would say no. I was bummed about this while pregnant with both my kids. I missed 2 really good concerts because of this. But once you are about 4-5 months along and baby can hear external noises, you should not go. My doc said if I really wanted to I could, but I would need to sit there with a pillow over my belly. Not worth it!

As a mother of four, I would say . . . Go! Enjoy the time while you have it, to not worry about a babysitter or what your kid is getting into while you are gone. I would avoid loud music for days on end, but one day/night shouldn't do anything except give you a "breath of fresh air", a break from reality, just for a bit, to indulge yourself in something you enjoy!

Have Fun!

Yes! I went to see Elton John and it was a blast. The baby was moving around the whole time "dancing" Unless the music is too loud for you, it should be too loud for the baby either!

Yes...my boyfriend always played loud music when I was pregnant and after I had my son music is one of the things that calms him down when he is fussy, and he has the ability to sleep thru loud noises as well... Good Luck

Should be fine. The baby might enjoy it actually. Just try to avoid being bumped around in the crowd or choking in smoke.

I went to several concerts when I was pregnant. My son is fine. He actually is a natural when it comes to guitar and drums. Just as long as it's smoke free.
