No they aren't trying to piss you off. Haven't seen the comercials? There is a little cookie crisp robber that try's to steal people's cereal so they have to eat it before he gets it. Your roomates are just trying not to be wasteful and trying to keep that little guy from breaking into your house. You should thank them.

Lol that's a pretty good cereal some ppl eat it like cookies because that's basically what it is I'd hide them if I were you

You should take the bag out of the box & replace it w/another cereal & hide it in a ziplock somewhere else like the oatmeal box ! Good Luck Girl I been there.
