If you have more than 2 degrees from Yale and an MBA from Harvard then it is acceptable for you to question the President's intelligence.

I didn't say don't question the Presidents decisions. This board has become a bunch of Bush haters with nothing more to say than "Bush is dumb", "Bush is a liar", "Bush is an Idiot". Just a bunch of junior high name calling.

Oh, quite a few, I suspect. Libs aren't educated enough to come up with new insults.

You mean having 2 degrees from Yale and an MBA from Harvard is the only way for someone to have an informed opinion on someone's intelligence? Do you know of anyone that actually has 2 degrees from Yale and an MBA from Harvard? Do you trust that person to have the "correct" opinion about everyone's intelligence?

I bet there will be just as many "Bush is the best" questions asked by community college dropouts.

Not everyone can afford to attend Yale, and even fewer still can afford to buy a degree. Listen to the man speak and then ask this question again. How many people have to agree that we are not winning (isn't that losing?) the war in Iraq before you will begin to understand that we aren't winning? How about the "war on drugs"? Do you still believe that we are "winning" that war also? How long can you hold your breath with your head so far up your butt?

Amen. All the Bush bashing does nothing but expose ignorance to politics and the political process. A question asking why Bush stole the 2000 election was answered with reference to Bush v. Gore (2000) and it got 9 thumbs down. What a world...

And you have these degrees? Sorry that kids that were not born in a rich family as yourself have a view on how there familys are doing because of the president. You obviously know more about the lower class then they do because you went to a school that has more prestige to it. Bush is not dumb in book knowledge. But you have to admit his reasoning skills arent that great.

I am almost certain W got into Yale on the merit of his outstanding grades, high SAT scores and accepted a full scholarship based on his academic prowess and skill. It was fortunate that his parents did not have to pull any strings or make any calls to get him into that school since they were humble average people without means or connections. Your question is very observant, as it really highlights that W earned his way into a flagship US school, and is really quite a brilliant person and President. Good point.

First, don't call me liberal because I am not.

However, I do have a 3.65 GPA at one of the top business schools in the country. I am majoring in finance, economics, and public policy, and I will complete all of these degrees within 4 years. I will graduate with over 5 years worth of courses in 4 years. I also work and am involved on campus. I think I have some merit in calling Bush dumb. Seeing as he had a C average and got rejected by UT but magically got into Yale and Harvard.

Oh, and I have an IQ of 143, which I guarantee surpasses that of Bush.

Now, I've asked Jeff Brown to join us today, PhD. Yes. I'm a C-student. He's the PhD. He's the advisor. I'm the President. What does that tell you? It tells you there's hope for all you C-students out there. (Dubya Mar. 10, 2005)

The whole "Bush is dumb" or "Bush is Hitler" things, I don't understand, myself. To be honest, I look down on them because so many have no absolute reason they do not like him. I do, however, and those reasons make him a faulty president. But that's just me, I don't speak for the general population.

I think the operative word in that is "truly earned" but the US is set up that no matter what your educational level you can question authority. So, unless their is some kind of "poll test" that is to be given for you to vote every American citizen can come up with a "How dumb is George Bush" question. What I want to know is how dumb are the people that support him.
