Companies probably have special staff that takes care of the mail to make sure that it gets out in time. Whereas, you probably don't have someone employed to make sure your letters get done and sent out soon enough. It also depends on where you send your mail from; for example, I work at a college campus, and the mail is just always slow here for everyone.

maximum credit card company's can take a fee via telephone yet charge you a cost to pay that way. See if your card has a internet website. maximum taking part in cards do presently and pay your invoice this type to ward off any previous due expenses. call the selection on the cardboard to verify precisely whilst the invoice is due, and despite if it quite is already previous due, see in the event that they are going to wave the value. attempt and save a itemizing of your nills with due dates (i exploit Microsoft money) so which you will understand whilst to assume your expenditures interior the destiny. i'm no longer saying it relatively is the suitable software, and an undemanding record works super too, yet i exploit it so i do no longer forget approximately.

Your intuition is probably right! Personal mail always takes longer...I think that credit card companies probably pay extra for their mail to be sent in 1-3 days...unlike regular mail which can take up to a week!!!

After I moved last February, I got CC bills from February and March in Like July, luckily I keep on a schedule for payments, but I had gotten all the other ones for April May and June, it was really weird. I opened them up and without even lookign at the date I looked at my balances and was like "WTF", someoens been using my cards, then i looked att he date.

Yeah - similar story with cheques. A cheque made payable to you takes 3 days to clear. A cheque made payable to a bank is cleared immediately. How come? Same machinery, surely?

Good point. Why's no one else ever challenged this? I bet you're right, but I bet the companies (including Royal Mail) will deny it.
