People with dull, boring lives thrive on other peoples buisness, especially buisness that is a world wide political debates that involves the "Right or Wrong" of Gay Marriages, Gay Adoptions, Medical Insurance thru an employer for a significant other/partner and etc. I personally believe Gay People are entitled to everything they are fighting for. In my eyes, those against having freedom of sexual preference, race, or religion, obviously do not believe in the "Bill of Rights" or the "Constitution".

It is a moral question. It use to be very normal to be gay in the old Greek times. But now culture has changed. After a while they create an image of a family (father-mother- and children). Most of the people embrace this image. Not everybody felt identified with this sexual preference, (girl-boy), others prefer (boy-boy) or (girl-girl).
The answer to this might be different ones:
1. Afraid of the unknown
2. Afraid of the change
3. I also think that society put a very strong emphasis on making differences between women and men, so they could fight each other. They haven´t toughs what will happen if a man and another man got together. How do society affects this, with the media: eg. you see a TV program where most of the families are heterosexual, and you see TV programs where they make jokes to the guy people. So people might copy this behaviors.
4. Usually when you discriminate someone else it makes you feel better, when you should know that it is bad to do that.

To be honest some people are disgusted by homosexuals. They let their personal beliefs interfere with who the person really is. Their private life shouldn't matter--but IF that private life should interfere with their regular life (work, ethics, school, etc.) then it becomes a problem. And that's true even if you're a heterosexual. Here's a little side note. In the city I live a lot of homosexuals like to flaunt their homosexuality. Okay, you're gay/lesbian and we see you. Now get over yourself. I don't flaunt me being straight.
I'm not homophobic and neither do I agree with it--BUT the fact is it disgusts a lot of people.

I care. I dont want to know what people are doing behind closed doors. That goes the same with bi's, threesomes, etc. I do believe in traditional marriage. Thats all disgusting and wrong. And thats all Im going to say, so I dont INSULT anyone. Although I may want to know what celebrity is gay so that I no longer support them in any way.

I'm as straight as an arrow and for the life of me i don't know why people care what other people do with their lives. I have a lot of gay friends who are the best freinds I ever had, I feel bad for them because they put up with so much crap

People like to know what goes on behind celebrity closed doors because it validates their own existence. People feel better about themselves and/ or their actions if they see people in a public eye experience the same pain as we do. Our curiosity is a natural human instinct.
The same reasoning why people like to go to your bathroom when visiting and look in your medicine cabinet. They can find out "things" about you that you may not want to formally announce....once again....reaffirming that others share in similiar experiences.

With a celebrity, when they come out it changes the fantasy. With Lance, for example, many young girls probably fantasized about growing up and being his wife. Now they know it is no longer possible.

You're right! People just like to point fingers and tell others what do do. There is also a lot of insecurity in this area too!

People are taken aback by unnatural behaviors. Its a natural reaction.
If youre all about not caring, then why should you be allowed to care how other people react?
Judging others for judging others doesnt some how make you any better.

Because people are afraid of "different"....and they are afraid of society and what they think.....and they are afraid of how they will react and if its contagious!
Its all a selfish reason and its self righteous and self serving!
