Sally was a smart girl, she picked up all the seashells on the seashore. The seashore was bear of seashells, so if one wonted seashells they had to buy them from Sally.

sea shells aren't just readily available on the shore. It's a matter of chance whether they wash up or not. And then sometimes it's certain times of the year when certain kinds wash up. Most beaches (like mine) have some place that sells shells. Sally was just one of them, I'm sure.
