they were the team of the 90's, so you have great memories. Their rebuilding so give them time, its just not their time. I do know this......every chick i've met that's a niners fan was good looking and cool.

I like the Niners. They are definitely on the rebound. They've got some very good players thanks to some good first round draft picks over the years. Frank Gore is going to be a special back in the NFL. They just have to solidify that offensive line so he can be successful. Also, they have to protect Alex Smith because he's coming into his own as well. 2-3 more seasons, the Niners will be right back in the playoff picture because The Rams are done. Seattle I think is overrated. You see what happened to them in the Superbowl, and their inability to function without Matt and Shaun. Arizona is gonna need a couple more seasons because Denny Green is going to get fired at the end of the season. So this is the perfect time for the Niners to go forward in the division.

I loved the 49ers in the 80s and early 90s when they were led by Montana and the BYU QB. I liked them even though I was a Cowboys fan first and they were one of the biggest Cowboy's competitors in the NFC. So, I guess, back then Cowboys were no 1 and 49ers #2

i love the niners. I've been a fan since i could watch football. the niners are a really young team with alot of potential. it gets me really excited thinking about it. i was too young to remember Joe Montana, but i was barely 6 when i watched Steve Young win the superbowl. Now we have a great power runner with a low center of gravity, which is a change of runners the niners historically have.
one more draft and free ancency period, and i think we're going to be very competitive.
OH, and to smalltd28, keep Brandon Lloyd, i know alot of happy people that are glad he is gone, he never caught any balls that were thrown to him, nor did he ever even make an attempt to throw a block during a run
we have a better 85 now

Their draft is junk. They gave the enemy the #7 %. this 12 months to go up in final 12 months's draft.... the 49ers concept they may be extra suitable then they have been, so thats why they made the commerce..in the event that they knew they wouldnt be that stable, i wager that under no circumstances do this deal now!

I do........They have acquired so much talent the last couple of years........Alex Smith will be a great QB....The guy is a great athlete.......Frank Gore is the man.....He just got elected to the pro bowl yesterday.....At least this year they have a decent receiver in Antonio Bryant.....Last year with Alligator arms...aka Brandon Lloyd was a joke....Oh yeah Lloyd blame Cody Pickett for your dropped pass becasue you had alligator arms.....but anyways....More important they have acquired young character guys like Gore, Lawson, Robinson, Alex Smith to complement the character veterans like BY and Derek Smith........Two years before Nolan came in it was dismal. But now the sky is opening back up for them. Nolan is doing just what he said he would do...Building a team around Alex.......Its exciting....Finally a good coach that can build this time back up to where they belong

I like the Joe Montana & Steve Young days the best. Jerry Rice is one of my favorites too. Frank Gore is a bull.

It has been tough over the past few years, but they are certainly giving a better accounting of themselves than in years past
