no GOP=Fascism, anything that has to do with global warming has been labelled many times as "socialist conspiracy" by neocons, not only on Yahoo answers, but other forums as well.
you obviously missed the point a little.

iamct01, click the link, and there is McCain supporting the "socialist conspiracy", known as Global warming, as neocons refer to it.

Horny Holly, if you are that dettached from reality, that you can't see the implied point in reference to neocons claiming global warming is socialist conspiracy theory, you really need to get out more.

Oh my God! You have just created new terrain on the far, far right. Incredible that McCain, a Goldwater conservative, can be considered a "socialist". Do you use that word as a catchall to mean "anything I don't like"?

Well I don't know about being a neocon. I tend to avoid the label thing. As a former Demonrat, and a confirmed conservative Republican, I can say that I will definitely oppose McCain in the Repulican Presidential Primaries.
I used to think he had some great credentials and was somewhat sane. Having been a military veteran and POW he had 'added value' in my book. Then he went off the deepend with his looney policies on campaign finance and my right to keep and bear arms in particular.
I'm sure he's now in position to be the front runner, and likely will receive the Republican nomination, but I will personally oppose him nonetheless and support a candidate that is a Christian and a conservative and walks the walk instead of talks the walk.

When Jesse Helms was in the Senate, he and McCain had identical voting records. He is far from a socialist.
And as far as Goldwater is concerned, John Dean, a man that actually knew Goldwater, sats Goldwater wouldn't recognize today's Repubs.
The only thing McCain and Goldwater have in common is Arizona.

Don't care much for McCain. If I had to choose between McCain and a Democrat, I'd probably hold my nose and vote for McCain, but it would be a close thing. I might as easily vote Libertarian.
I'd much prefer to see an actual conservative Republican presidential candidate.

If a Republican gets elected in 2008, you can't say that they are cleaning up Bush's mess. Every time it's said that Bush was cleaning up Clinton's mess..it was deemed an invalid argument and I herd all kinds of excuses. Also, since they are sure to promis a withdraw from Iraq, how soon should that take place?

Could we have some evidence or proof that McCain is a socialist?

Not me. And besides, he'll be about 74 years old by the time the election nominations are determined. He supports illegal alien amnesty and I'm against that

No, I will not support McCain.I have had enough Republican leadership for a lifetime. This country is at a crucial point in its democracy. If we continue this demented "march forward," I fear we may lose the very thing we hold most dear: our American freedom.

I am a CONSERVATIVE. Not a NEOCON.
However, despite the derogatory tone of your question, it deserves an answer.
I will not be supporting McCain. I didn't support him the first time he ran for pres, and I won't support him now.

McCain and Kerry should go back to Viet Nam if they liked it so much.
