Have Sex! An abortion doesn't change the fact that sex will make you pregnant.
Be honest with your doctor about your procedure. This will let him/her know if there is anything to be worried about. If your husband/boyfriend doesn't know about the procedure and you don't want him to know, discuss this fact with your doctor also who will keep it confidential.

This is my standard answer......... go get a book called Taking Charge of your fertility by Toni Weschler
This book will help you with all of your menstrual and conception questions. It’s for all women - not just women trying to conceive. It covers everything from temperature to mucus checking, etc.. It will help you understand your body and all the myths about it. It will help you time when you are ovulating and the best times to conceive – or not! It tells you how to figure out your cycle and what to expect. My husband and I tried for a year to conceive and nothing happened. The first month I used the book we conceived right away. Now I am due Feb 2. It's about knowing your body and knowing when you are fertile or not. You can pick and choose what you do with your info. Good luck and don't listen the all the myths!

i also had a abortion about 1 year ago........and iam aslo trying to concieve just know when you ovulate and track it so you will no when you are most fertile....check out this page its awsome and its helping me with tracking also:

P.S i conceived right after the abortion, maybe about 2 months right after and i had a M/C so you'll be well off for letting yourself recover from the abortion........Baby Dust Too You......

Just try as normal. I had two abortions and have had 3 children since. I never had any problems.

Do as you did when you pregnant in the first place. An abortion doesn't affect your ability to get pregnant again...
