It will never work--A.I. is the number two scorer in the league and will quickly take over the number one spot with Melo out 14 more games--how do you think he will feel about that. And if Iverson won't practice like he didn't practice in Philly, then why should Melo practice--or the rest of the team for that matter. This is a huge mistake the only way it will ever work is if there are two balls on the court at once! The Nuggets were Melo's team, and now Iverson is coming in threatening to take it away. These are two of the biggest egos in the game today and there will not be room enough for them in the same locker room. Good luck Nuggets--I think you are going to need it--you just shot yourself in the foot!

I think it was a good trade for both teams. the sixers now have three 2007 first round draft picks in what is suppose to be a very deep draft, and the sixers also get PG Andre Miller who is a great playmaker.
Now Denver has both of the leagues leading scorers, except one of them is serving a suspension of 15 games.
Here is something to think about if your a nuggets fan. The miami heat have both the 1st and 2nd overall players drafted in the 1992 draft (Shaq, and Zo). Now because of this trade denver has the 1st and 2nd overall players drafted in the 1996 draft (Iverson, and Camby).
Now i think we all know who is going all the way, just look at denver's roster. Besides Iverson, and Melo, they also got Camby, Boykins, JR Smith, Nene, and Najera. Too bad Kenyon Martin was lost for the season, because it would be guarenteed if he was still active, so the nuggets will win it all within the next two years.
I still wish the wolves would of got him because Iverson is my favorite player, and i am from minnesota, which would meen i would be able to watch all his games.

I think it's bad because first of all, Denver already has a franchise player in Carmelo Anthony. That was his team. Now they have Allen Iverson, another franchise player on the same team. Now I think it's Allen Iverson's team. He's been around longer, and has done more for the NBA than Carmelo. I think Carmelo should consider leaving Denver when his contract is up. He was the scoring leader in the league until now. He's not going to get the shot attempts he used to get because AI is going to take his shots, he doesn't care what the system was before he got there. It's going to be another Shaq/Kobe mess. First Carmelo gets suspended for 15 games, now he's gotten his team taken from him. What a bummer.

Denver did a great job, of getting A.I. They lost A. Miller, and that is about it, Joe Smiths sucks, and the 2 first rond raft picks are not gonna be bear the lottery so yeah they did a grat trade. I think Allen is gonna let Carmelo be the leader of the team like Shaq did with Wade, if he wants to win he will. Wow they are a team to be scared of now. By the way im a Lakers fan.

How exciting will or no longer it quite is if he gets traded to Philly? The Sixers have the products to commerce for him (Carney, Thaddeus youthful, Lou Williams), and get a high quality shooting shield in return (the single place Philly has a weak point in). the only undertaking is how this might paintings out interior the salary cap because they only signed type and gave Igoudala an extension (even consistent with possibility A. Miller)?

Winner: 76ers. The 2 first rounders come in one of the deepest drafts in years, with possibly (but not likely in my eyes, I think he stays in school) Greg Oden at the forefront.
Loser: Nuggets. Melo and AI will NOT be able to share the ball, plus, there are other stars like Nene and Marcus Camby that will want the ball.

is philly really that stupid. people don't think so buy they sure are showing it. the nuggets on the other hand will get some out of this trade. how can you have to two leading scorers on the same team. look at what happened to chris webber when he went to philly. i think the same will happen in denver.
