I am wondering if there is any issues with loss of speed and if there is anything else I need to consider when doing so. Thanks !

you can connect your TV to your video card if the card has video ouput connections. you will have to check to see if the video inputs to your TV can match any of the video outputs from your video card then get the proper cable.

there is no way to do this with wireless...

1- You should buy a new Graphic Card with TV Output .
2- Insert it
3- Install it
4- Right click on your desktop >> TV/Analog Display >> Display mode >> change nView Modes and Current Display

It is not connected wirelessly. You have to see what output connectors are on your computer video and what input connectors are on your tv.
