I don't see how it's possible to become obese from c-section.
However if you really want to lose weight it's going to take a lot of hard work and determination.

See your doc, for a recommendation to a dietician who can help you to decide on a great diet that WILL work for you.
Ignore those who say to stay away from starches! We need them for energy! As far as starches go, you want to go with the whole wheat varieties because they are more complex, and require more work for your body to break them down!!!!

(Check out your national food guide! Most of the things you are supposed to eat are starches!!!!!)

You shouldn't have to cut out the healthy foods that you love in order to lose weight, you just have to eat them in more moderation and variety. (That being said you should really try to cut out junk food such as pop and chips and chocolate... Just cutting out pop alone works wonders!)

Your dietician may also be able to recommend a work out schedule to you, or at least a gym with excellent personal trainers, which you should consider unless you have really really good will power.
Good luck to you.

Always consult your doc before starting a diet or exercise program!!!! Do it the healthy way, otherwise the weight will just come back.

you are not obese due to a c section- I had 4 c- sections and two other surgeries on the same scar. You are obese because of food intake. You may be flabby and at an ideal weight because of the c- section, and nothing will help to tighten those cut muscles ever again, except a tummy tuck. And no, they will not do a tummy tuck during a c- section- already tried that one. I left the hospital weighing 100 pounds and had a flabby gut, nursing helps shrink the uterous, but time is the best hope.
Reduce weight by changing your lifestyle. Eat healthy and stay away from all starches.

The reality is the c-section didn't cause your obesity. That will be the first step in reducing your weight. If you indeed want to lose weight, you need to start walking & exercising, cut your portions of food down, and make healthy choices in the food you do eat. Aim more for baked or grilled rather than fried, and do fruits and vegetables instead of potato chips and junk for snacks.

A c-section does not cause obese, i know that for a fact. I know several women who have had one and it didn't effect their weight at all (this is more than 15 women). I also worked in a clinic for a long time (family medicine) and none of the c-sections resulted in obesity unless they were already obese.

Eat healthy, excercise regularly. Read up on it and make a plan for yourself.

Obese from a c-section? How long has it been since the c-section? My sister had a problem with her weight after her first c-section. She seemed to ballon up months after the baby. They said breastfeeding would help her lose weight, but she seemed to keep gaining. We think part of the problem was that she went on the Depo shot 6 weeks after delivery... Once she stopped the Depo shot the weight slowly came down. Dramatic results started after she begam going to the gym, and watching what she ate.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

You are not obese due to a C-section. Try weight watchers, I have lost 50 lbs since Jan 06, and still have 100 more to go. It's so easy and it is full of things you can do for the rest of your lfie.
And I am not some skinny girl telling you that to be mean. But it simply isn't true. I had two c-sections and was fat before them and and still fat.

lowering greenhouse emissions is physically powerful for the financial equipment, and the ecosystem, so that's a reliable pursuit. however the U.S., (because of the fact of George W. Well, I won't be as mean as everyone else. Depending on your recovery, it could've been very difficult to excersize. And lets face it, who really eats well with a newborn to take care of. I had a c-section with my first. I lost the weight by walking when I could and drinking lots of water. Plus, once my daughter got a little older, I was chasing her all the time(still am). So anyway, don't get discouraged. Sometimes it takes awhile to lose baby wieght.

It's just physics. If you burn more calories than you take in, you'll lose weight. Some people have a higher percentage of calories to burn for weight loss, but it's still done in the same way. Eat less and excercise.
