The Colts are becoming the new team for people to root against. Mainly because they have been the best team as far as record for the last 3 or 4 years, and they seem to choke. But you can toss all that our the window. This is a wierd year in the NFL and anything can happen. I believe the Colts have the best chance of reachingf the superbowl because of peyton manning. Sure, I know there D can be very sloppy , but Peyton has enough to overcome even a horrible game by his defense. Rivers is too inexperienced, and I beleive it will cost the Chargers a trip to the Superbowl.

I can't say they're underrated. They have an awsome offense but it can be and has been stopped and no run defense. You just can't win in the playoffs with that bad of a run defense. The colts pass D can be good, but only if they get a big lead and every down becomes a passing down. Good teams (especially AFC) will keep the ball out of peytons hands with the run.

Um WHAT??? That is the team always picked at the start of the season. People are just learning what is wrong with that. They had a terriable run defense. Manning constantly chokes in the playoffs. There are so many reasons to put the Colts out.

I wouldn't say they're underrated. However, it's the same thing every year with them. They always do well in the regular season and then they somehow find a way to lose in the playoffs. They can never really be taken seriously.

As a Colts fan who is at this moment sitting about three blocks from the RCA Dome, I would have to say that they are overrated.

Until they fix their run D, they are going nowhere fast in the playoffs.

They looked good on Monday though.

Well when you lose teams like the Titans, Jaguars and Cowboys in 3 of 4 games, that sort of happens.

But that win over Cincy certainly gave the Colts back their title of "Super Bowl contenders".

i think analysts lately are harping on the Colts horrendous run defense. That seems to be what will stop them from getting there.

There are too many strong AFC teams, especially the San Diego Chargers who have won eight straight. Their run defense is horrible, they just don't have all the pieces in place to get there.

Only time will tell. If their D can play like they did Monday night, I will say they are underrated.
