The first reliable estimate concerning infidelity was made in 1953 by renowned sex researcher Alfred Kinsey, who in his landmark study found that 50 percent of husbands and 26 percent of wives surveyed had cheated by age 40. However, in recent years, women have been catching up to men. A 1997 Ball State University study suggests that young women, those under age 40, are just as likely to commit adultery as men their age. Among older couples, the stereotype of men being more likely to stray holds true.

Sex researchers agree that today more women are committing adultery. At the same time, more and more women are working outside the home alongside men, oftentimes in office environments that are charged with sexual electricity. In addition, some studies show that the more sexual partners a person has before marriage, the more likely she or he is to cheat on a spouse.

Although it does not have exact numbers, which would be virtually impossible to get, it should give you an idea.

A woman I was dating a while back told me ALL married people cheat. Its just a matter of how you define it. Emotional affair is placing someone or thing as emotional more important than your spouse. That sort of affair happens every day with work, hobbies, friends, and even watching TV. What is a physical affair? Is it just sex or anything that gives a person physical pleasure? Its a matter of how much cheating you will accept is the question. People think that spouses should be the number one priority in married people's lives. However, in reality spouses are important, but are rarely number one.

I know this, because i saw it on the news one night. I was shocked, because to me cheating is the worst thing a person can do to the one they love. But here it is. 64% of women, and if you want to know, 73% of men, cheat at least one time in their life wether it be during a marriage or just a serious relationship. scary huh? There are anti-cheating websites for singles who want to meet someone who thinks fidelity is the only way to go.

in accordance to learn approximately 80% of people who suspect their companion of cheating are maximum surprising and approximately 40 3% suspect their companion of having cheated. The stats are extra or less the comparable for adult adult males. that's approximately 34%. I additionally study a statistic that one in 3 or 4 women individuals have a minimum of one baby with a guy different than their husband mutually as they are married. women individuals try this whilst they sense "emotionally unsatisifed" by ability of their companion and use this as justification to cheat. that's totally very nearly like punishing the companion yet they hardly demonstrate it.

I can tell you if a woman marries a woos then she will cheat. If a woman marries a man that is good to her and she is good to him. She will not cheat. Woman can't stand a woos or a man who only thinks of himself. So it depends on what kind of men or out there.

I seem to remember that a large detailed study said that about 40% of women and about 60% of men say they have.
However upon further review it appears that men slightly overreport and women underreport, so both are about 50%.
