I haven't noticed them but I believe you. The clones tend to post in the most controversial sub sections so my suggestion would be to look in other categories. I do that when the Q and A gets to be beyond stupid in the politics or religion areas.
Polls also can be like listening in to a romper room detention center. Some of it is in fun but some I think is deliberate attempts to upset and hurt others.
There are some angry and viscous people in the world and this is a perfect place for them to rage and vent. ((although they do have to keep it clean and tone down their tirades))
I think you have a legitimate question. The bad content that deserves to be reported leaves us all worried about having our stuff deleted. I know I sometimes worry about it, but I post anyway.

They're pretty easy to spot - spouting extreme crap like the dating southern conservative women questioner pretending to be a liberal.
I just ignore them.
And did you notice almost all of them are conservatives cloning liberals? What does that say about the courage to argue topics on the merits?
