It is illegal only if you are going to different doctors to obtain controlled substances..

example: doctor 1 gives you viodin, same day Dr 2 gives you percoset and Dr 3 gives you oxycontin..and you are not telling them about any of the other prescriptions and you are using them to obtain drugs..

That is illegal and I hope you get caught..it makes the rest of us who need medications to function a "normal" life hard to get what we need without being looked at like a criminal...

I don't think it is. In fact, I have been encouraged, sometimes by doctors, to "doctor shop". You need a doctor you are comfortable with and can trust, so that it's easy to discuss your health with him/her.

Right now, no its not, but imagine if we end up with nationalized healthcare, can you imagine going to a doctor you are not comfortable with and a doctor who gets paid by the government. We all knwo about government workers and how good they are.

Of course not! You should look at different doctors, their qualifications, what insurance they accept, their treatment methods...you should take control of your own healthcare.

Well, according to the liberals, everyone has their own set of values, and it is their right to follow those.

If I want to rape or murder someone in the street, it is my "right" to do so. How can you tell me what to do with my own body?

If I want to make an organization (NAMBLA) devoted to having homosexual sex with underage children, it is my "right" and no one can tell me not to.

The liberals do not want a moral set of values. They want everyone to do what they feel is right.
