Life – it has a meaning and loving purpose - you just have to find your purpose and live it.

I believe every person is here for a definite purpose. Each person is special and valuable; that refers to me, you, your family, friends, in fact everybody! There is a loving plan for each of our lives here on earth and there is no such thing as coincidence. I don't believe that anything in life happens by chance and that every aspect of our lives points to something deeper.

You need to decide now to live for God rather than for yourself. You spend your life on Earth preparing yourself (as best you can) for death. I don't see death as a scary, negative experience, but birth into a bliss filled eternal life with God. I believe that this is something you have to consciously choose or not during your life on earth.

The meaning of life is for us to discover that we are true children of an infinitely loving and merciful God, to find out what our responsibilities are to our Creator, and to fulfill those responsibilities. Each of us is called to affirm, accept and develop the talents God has given us. -

The age old question....To be or not to be? 80% of the earth's population don't need to ask that question, they get it from the bible and their religion. The rest of us, however, can't swallow the fairy tales and religious dogma.

I've come to two conclusion here on Answers:

1. Life has no meaning.
2. Life has a million meaning.

Number 1, in the long run, there's an astronomical certainty that our sun will supernova and leave our planet a burnt crisp. The many doomsday scenarios will most likely doom our species off before then. In a thousand years, all you accomplishments will be lost to oblivion...turned to dust, unless of course you're fossilized, but even then you'll eventually turn to dust.

Number 2, the million or so pleasureable experiences we can conjure up in this life, like helping others, loving each other, etc. etc. makes life worth living.

So what then is the meaning of life....To be or not to be.....My answer: "to be" is temporary and "not to be" is inevitable.

This may sound shallow and simplistic, but really, the most important thing in life is to find a companion. Think about it. You and someone of completely different blood stay together. I know that this world takes it for granted, but there are those out there who find this very difficult to achieve. Humans are completely unpredictable, and gaining the affection of one is not easy for everybody.

People spend years in school, for prestige, for money, for a nice car, nice house, and special and fancy possessions, but they try to gain all these things why? To impress someone, someone special (usually). So, focusing on the main point, if you can focus on the person, then you don't need any of the other things anyway.

The meaning of life is that each & every being (humans, microbes, molecules, etc) has been created by God so that they can fulfill their purpose for being born into this world. Finally everything in this world will come to and end & one day all existence will cease. Only God will remain forever & ever. Time has never been & will never be a factor for God. God was never there, but he will always be there. Meaning that God was there even before the beginning of time & will be even after the end of "time"

Ooh, ooh! I know this one!

It's a 17oz New York Strip with a pint of Guinness. Before that it used to be chicken fettucini with a good white wine, pale ale or a Heineken--but there have been advances in science and medicine since then. We now know red meat and and two beers a day will make you live, longer, happier and more manly than chicken, tofu and vegan diets.

One day when I was tripping on Shrooms, I was contacted by aliens or God or something (I'm not religious), and I was offered the meaning of life.

I think I'm right.

The meaning of life is to use our intelligence and intellect and innovation in order to live all for one human, and one human for all, in harmony with the planet and nature in order to ensure the overall success of our species in combination with all other species of living things.
