Pretend you aren't paying attention and let the egg slip from your fingers. Say something like "oh my!" and press both hands, palms extended, to your cheeks. Expression is also important, so open eyes widely while watching the egg break on the concrete.
Make sure someone else is present as a witness to confirm it wasn't your fault.

It depends if you want the raw egg to break or not. If you don't want it to break, than you have to wrap it up in a lot of cotton and Styrofoam. If you want it to break, then just let it fall out of your hand onto a concrete floor.

Why would you want to do this? But if you do just hold a egg and let it drop from your fingers and hand to the concrete...then use salt to clean it up!

Suspend it in the center of a simple structural structure ( pyramid) This is a simple grade school science project. The structure absorbs the shock and the egg survives. I did this experiment in fourth grade and droped it off 20 ft. and did fine.

Take it out of the carton, hold it over the floor and let go. What is the question?

I don't see how the process could be a mystery to you. simply open your hand while you are holding the egg and let gravity do it's thing.

Hold it up high, and let go of it. Er, would that be in, or outside the shell, by the way?
