I've seen commercials for Gardasil, the cervical cancer shot and was wondering if anyone has gotten it yet or knows more about it. I tried to look it up online but couldn't get any information.

YES YES YES, GO GO GO get it. Current estimates are that 80 percent of sexually active people are exposed to and transmit the HPV virus. Condoms do not protect against it due to the fact it can be anywhere on the body. While its normally benign, it can cause some type of cervical cancer. If I had a daughter I would insist she got the shot before she was even old enough to have sex.

I disagree.

Check out some alternative health websites for the "opposite view". Try www.mercola.com.

The vaccine comes in three shots over 6 months. It costs $360 for the full course.
