I find I can be more relaxed when I'm naked than when I'm clothed. Nothing is more relaxing than sitting on the beach or around a pool reading a book going for an occasional swim. Nudists are typically fairly social people so it can be a great way to meet other people.

I have been to several nudist resorts and enjoyed them very much. It is very relaxing and everyone is very friendly. Don't expect to see tons of cute chicks and such - usually nudist resorts are family places. Single guys usually aren't even allowed in some of them.

The main benefit is the self-realization that all people are beautiful, no matter what their body type. The societal barriers we build break down when we are nude and honest with each other in a non sexual manner.
