Botox Windbag, having seen some of your other answers I think we can safely assume you feel threatened in some way, You represent EVERYTHING that makes a minortiy of americans a subject of ridicule.

Longviewcyclist- you've got ISSUES!!. That frustration is just boiling out of you. You need a man, hunni. Or why don;t you just go out and shoot something? Maybe a shotgun rampage will make you feel less frustrated.

If American weren't the best place to live on earth, people would not risk their lives to come here. The problem is that some Americans (who were born with this wonderful birthright) don't recognized their luck and assume that they have earned what was given to them. That feeling of entitlement spills over into knowing what is best for the world. Those people believe "might makes right" and think they don't need the rest of the world.

It will be interesting to see how they feel if China continues to grow and our jobs continue to leave.

We overthrew the most powerful government when we broke off from the British Empire. We have the most powerful military in the world and can take over any country we wish - even the world if we so choose to do so. Money, Power, and Respect. Though we are losing this now and look where we are ending up. Money is good, but not what it could be. Power is slowly decaying away from our struggle within, both political parties constantly arguing and underminding, not paying attention to real threats or our true enemies. The respect has went down for not having a real leader in decades. We are slowly becoming faded out. The most powerful country is falling within itself, not to say it is all within, but it certainly does not help when we argue with one another and start losing focus of the real threats that do not worry if there is sympathy or not towards them.

The USA try to claim moral superiority (pure propaganda), but have not got the "right" to claim it. (and they know it)
Their performance since WW2 in their attempts to manipulate world affairs has proved they do not have any moral rights whatsoever.
They have humiliated many countries and applied the $ as the value of life and the measurement of failure also as the price of obedience.
They are culture-less people "Who know the price of everything and the value of nothing" (Oscar Wild)
When Europe was entrenched in two world wars that decimated its economies, people and industries the USA took advantage of the available market as the USA land mass was never destroyed or damaged in major modern war.
In other words the USA had an easy passage to their development of wealth mainly initially based on food production.
It is a historical fact that when nations become wealthy they also get political and military aspirations - the USA is no different from all other would be Empires and politicians dreams and thirst for power. (everyone likes to be the boss)
A phenomena of the USA is that it operates a democracy within the USA but operates as an Imperial Power in its foreign policy externally.
The USA believe "Wealth is Power" it is partially true but is also the reason why all empires in history eventually fell.
The USA Empire will fall sooner that anyone may think.

I am American and I don't feel we have moral superiority over other countries. I do think that some cultures as a whole are more moral and some are less moral but that is based on what I consider to be moral and other people will feel differently. I don't believe it to be moral to kill someone just because I think they live an immoral life still as some cultures do.

Rights are more often taken than given. The most powerful nation on earth is able to say what is right, wrong good or bad. When that country is such a hybrid of extremes whose only common factor is greed, any policy or philosophy produced is unlikely to stand up to moral scrutiny.

Delusion. My country can not come to terms with the hypocrisy of its birth. Our documents and our actions diverge. We failed to include the elimination of Slavery upon our conception. Due to that grossly immoral failure; we developed into this bipolar citizenry. Clearly, claiming isn't being. Our government functions to protect the corporate aristocracy. I won't try to paraphrase historian, Howard Zinn; but, I do agree that the level of honesty, with ourselves and others, can and must be raised. Knowledge, for goodness sake.

You must be a troll.

Your question is certainly not neutral, as the language you use is loaded.

Answer is: America doesn't claim moral superiority over every other nation on earth.

However, many of the other nations on earth are ruled by gutter slime. America is not, though I am saddened to say that my president *did* say that our constitution is 'just a G** Dam*** piece of paper.'

Have fun, sweetie.

i think its because a lot of countries in the world are SO FUCKED UP!!!!!! i mean, look at it. in iraq, not only do they have kamikazi suicide type ****, but their engineers get paid more than their dr.s which, those two together tell u that they just dont give a **** about life. also, in world war 2, navy corpsmen and medics and ppl like that were considered off limits to gun fire for most troops. but the japs got it in their head that if they killed the medic they werent just killin him, but whoever he might have helped. how moral is that? then theres the nazis, do u ever see a mass extermination in american history??? theres that **** with the indians, but that was kickin them off of land, not gassin them to death. if u look at it, everybody has a little somethin somethin in their history(countrywise) but its just that some have more than others.
