During this festival stay at home is the best. Organise a BBQ party with some friends and have fun. Clubs will be full of people, highway will be full of cars, and highland will be full of people and cars. in your head will be full of presure :)

Yup, I totally agree. Nightclubs in KL are way too pack on NYE. But some Hotels have nice lounges that arent so crowded & also a great view of the fireworks.

cicakman ..lol....u are true..funny... s'pore is great..i'm not sure the night life in KL or other places cause i'm usually at my parents place for NYE spemding time with my family. But you should not miss out the fireworks and countdown..Happy New Year To you !!

why dont you try cameron highlands...the way the people there celebrating nye is quite different..why dont you go and check it out yourself..or you might want to celebrate nye with the indigenous people..i am sure that they celebrate nye differently..

are you nuts..clubbings does not sound tempting to you??..
you should go and celebrate the NYE in either Bangsar or Sri Hartamas area..there are many great places that you can unwind yourself and wait for that special moment with your friends..it's awesome!
but anyway..if you just hate the crowdy area..why not go and try something outdoor adventure...say climb up Mount Kinabalu and celebrate your NYE up there..it could be very interesting you know..

all places will be full ( not so good ) and disco (thats good) downtown and uptown is the place. you will forget what happens next morning or after a few mornings when u woke up.
