I'm going to wear a red knee length sparkly dress on Christmas Eve at church, and 4" black heels. What can I do to make my legs look better? They're very pale but I don't have time to tan and self tanner will turn me orange. Its not the color I care about so much but my legs just don't look good...

i'm pale as well. i LOVE it.

DON"T use nylons (yes, that would look like crap), nothing from hottopic, you're going to church on christmas eve, haha.

Make your eyes really smokey and dark, light clear shimmery lip gloss, some fabulous accessories, and for your legs-

Shave and moisturize of course.

Paint your toenails a dark red (to go with the dress, plus it makes your feet look better)

and apply shimmer body lotion to your legs as a final touch. You'll appear very holidayish, young, and your legs won't just be 'flat'. You can't let your dress live you up, haha.

Have fun.

there are only the two options, either you tan them (there are leg tanning beds, it's only 20 minutes, or get nylons. If you get a pair with a line that runs down the back, they tend to make your legs look long and sexy. If you don't feel confident about the way your legs look, exercise them, you can do leg lifts standing anywhere whenever your standing in line just stand on your tippy-toes, hold for 10 seconds, and go down, do reps. Maybe a different pair of shoes will make your legs look better with the dress. Things to remember are if you are short you don't want to have a strap around your ankle because it'll subtract length from your legs, and if you live anywhere that's cold in the winter time your feet will freeze if they're open toed.

Sally Hansen makes the most wonderful product for we pale women: it's called Airbrush legs (with Vitamin K). You can get it in shades of nude (or tan, but that won't work for pale legs), and it will add just enough color, without any orange, and cover up all flaws. It doesn't rub off, but easily comes off in the shower with soap and hot water. You can get it anywhere for about $5: target, Big K, Wal Mart, etc. It's extremely easy to apply: you just spray into your hands or on your legs and blend. It will not leave a line, and you can put some on your heels and top of your foot if you need to. Have a great holiday!

Easiest thing is to shave your legs that morning and moisturize well. Then that evening before you dress, apply one of the spray-on leg tanners. You might want to practice a bit before the big night, but they're fairly goof-proof. I use Sally Hansen's Airbrush Legs. The only problem I've ever encountered was, if my legs were a bit dry, they looked a bit flaky with the spray on tanner. But moisturizing earlier in the day takes care of that for me. Oh, and you can't go wrong with a really good pedicure--preferably one where your toenails match your red dress! Good luck and have fun!

I think fair skin can look good in red too! All you have to do is have a really good shave and some body sparkle powder. First, massage your legs with baby oil and a loofah to polish off dead skin. Use a brand new shaver to get best results when shaving. Make sure your legs are nourished and have a good amount of body lotion on them. Try a body lotion with shimmer powder or you can dust some shimmer powder on your legs yourself. You can shimmer powder in any drugstore (try Target) or if you feel like splurging, Victoria's Secrets got a really good one by Pink!

You are going to look stunning!

Why are you wearing strappy shoes in the winter? Is it not cold where you live?

You must have dozens of shoes in your closet. Find some 4 inch pumps and wear nylons and you will be perfect in my book.

Try Sally Hansen's air brushed legs. That works really well. Or, buy some nude colored, seamless, sheer-toe pantyhose.
Before you go out, do some light stretching. Getting the leg muscles warmed up will make your legs look more toned.
Have fun!

well; put some lotion on them; start from now; so they will look nice and bright till christmas, as for the same day; apply lotion and buy something from body shop; it is a nice cream that have different levels of colors; choose what looks natural with your color and apply it; it give a natural color, dosen't look pale and can be washed away easily

ps. don't apply too much; just something suitable;

Try those spray on pantyhoses. You choose the colour of your choice and you can spray that on. But if your not in to that you can always do this.

Shave/wax your legs.
Build muscle in them (Hey you still have time)
Put moissturizer/cream on your legs.

If you still dont get the results you want you can always do something that will divert their attention from your legs to say your hair or you neck or your arms.

Hope this helps.
