Feeling is intangible. It needs to be expressed to prove what one is feeling. The expression could be in terms of words you say or write, or the actions you take.

Well, besides using an MRI scan, one may act on that feeling, although acting in itself is a type of expression. The actions can convey the feeling either through verbal or paralinguistic communication (facial expressions, composture), or via tone of voice, word choice. Decisions also demonstrate how one feels. Merely stating that one is "X emotion" or feeling "Y Emotion" doesn't have nearly as much gravity as conveying that emotion through an action.
Thus, if one were sad, crying 'proves' the sadness. A joyful person may become generous, which would in turn validate the joy.
But the burden of proof requires an expression of some sort or a test to read one's state of being.

You cannot. A feeling is something that occurs inside one person's mind. There are often physical manifestations of a feeling that can be read from the outside appearance of a person but those cannot always be trusted. A person can cry even if they are not upset, or smile when they are sad.
Whether you believe what a person is feeling is up to you. Some people can even fool themselves into thinking they feel a certain way when they do not.

There is no need to "Impress" PROOF. A feeling manifests itself, even if not strictly in your control. Beyond that even if you "Express" IT, there is no promise that it's accepted. It's just been revealed.
What might seem the need to PROVE a feeling any how? Is it not enough just to HAVE IT?

A feeling is a state of being. Certain feelings can sometimes manifest other indicators that can be observed. For example,
happiness (laughter) sadness (crying). Human interaction can be the best method for confirming a feeling.

Either way it can't be proven- It's an introspective subject. Some people can see what you're feeling from outward manisfestations, eg. sadnees=crying...

You do not need to prove feelings, they are inarguable. You feel what you feel - No one can argue that your feelings are not your feelings. They may argue that they are wrong or right, justified or not, but your feelings are yours and you do not need to prove them.
