I want to send one of my picture to agencys that are near New York, California, or Florida. Where I live it's no good because theres not a lot of opportunities. I once went to a what so called agency but you had to pay. But what if you get a called from them. Will you have to go to that state to be able to meet them for an interview?

Yes, you can send them to other states. Yes, you would probably have to go meet them if they were interested. You should send them natural (no makeup) snapshots, a full face shot, profiles from each side, and a full length shot. You want to show them what they potentially have to work with.

You're right to avoid the agencies that want you to pay to get trained. They should be making their money on commission alone if they're legit.

Yes, you can do that. But if they do sign you, you will need to be able to travel or most likely to move close to the agency. You should also send more than one photo. And did you know that all modeling agencies also have a walk-in day? That's when modeling hopefuls like yourself show up and are seen and checked out.

You can check out modelscouts.com.

You can also get yourself a website and post your pics on there. templatemonster.com has some great website templates to make up your own modeling website and it is relatively inexpensive (around 65$ US)

Wishing you success in the New Year with your modeling career! Happy Holidays!

Most likely if you put in an application with an agency that is not in your state then if you do get accepted then you will have to move to that state unless it is not far away and you have a car to drive there.

you rather could get your parent's permission first. by the way, you're slightly short for a sort. i'm the comparable age as you and 5"4 virtually 5"5. often, the commonplace top for a sort may be a minimal of 5"8 or so. yet as properly that, you have a reasonably face and that i think of which you're skinny sufficient.

yes. be prepared to lose your pics too. they don't send them back if they choose not to sign you. i would send more than 1. you want a couple of looks and angles. you will need to go there at some point. good luck.
