You failed at failing. So you actually succeded at failing. I don't know!!! I'm way to confused now....

You failed to fail, in other words, you succeeded without trying.

It would get confusing is you said you failed to fail....which means you actually failed....but in fact, you didn't fail the thing you WANTED to fail, so you didn't succeed at failing what you wanted to fail.
