Tara Conner has gotten *everything* because of her looks, including a boob job before the age of 21.
And let's face it, she *really* got a second chance because she single-handedly got the Miss USA pageant on the front page of CNN in an age where absolutely nobody in the world cares about Miss USA or pageants in general. Donald Trump realised that he could strip her of her crown and give the title to a pretty, boring 2nd-place contestant or he could give the sad, pretty little Midwestern Christian girl a chance to atone for her - EVERYBODY IN THE MEDIA LISTEN UP NOW! - underage-drinking, coke-snorting, Miss-Teen-USA-molesting ways and make himself look like a good guy while he was doing it. This way she gets more publicity as we all speculate what she really did, the pageant gets more attention, and Trump gets to pretend he has a heart while being a complete publicity whore.

No, I don't think he should have. She is representing the Miss USA title and all the rules and regulations that go with that title - she was drinking underage (she just turned 21 the week all this came out!!), drug use and who knows what else. By letting this go, and giving her a second chance - this will open doors to the future beauty queens - not just the USA but other countries too, that 'it is ok to do this once, for we believe in second chances'. Tara has been doing beauty pageants since she was four!!! Please don't tell me she has never once read the fine print. Now, all these young girls that are in beauty pageants, and other young girls that look up to these ladies, are now getting one clear message: It is ok to drink underage and do drugs - for Tara Connor, Miss USS did so and she got off and kept the title - and though it is nice that Trump gave her the second chance - sorry, but not for something like this. She broke the law and she broke the rules set out by the Miss USA association. We have enough with Britney, Lindsay and skinny Nicole - getting off doing really stupid things... now this. Sheesh.

Wellllllll, it is a given that a beauty pagent winner would be beautiful and have a great body, right? So based on that fact, any of the other contestants would have been given a second chance, if he were influenced purely by looks.

I think she got a "second chance" because of her looks. I mean, drinking underage is illegal. I don't understand why Donald Trump would do that! He's usually very strict!

I suppose that could be the case and I guess the board has changed a lot since Vanessa Williams crown was taken because she posed for Playboy. Why wasnt Vanessa allowed a second chance? Hmmm makes you wonder!!!!!!

After all, she is Miss USA and Donald has a penchant for younger beautiful women.

I think he milked the situation for publicity...he stands to gain more by showing "generosity" and playing up the suspense of the situation...will she turn a new leaf...than changing to a new anonymous person at this point.
She is extremely attractive, of course, so that didn't hurt too much.

Of course it did. He's a dirty old man who likes looking at young women. Why do you think he bought the pageant to begin with? I would say yes or she slept with him.

It was not because of her looks, ALL the contestants look like that!!! It was cause she didn't do anything that bad to begin with!
