Australia A.

Every other team is not good enough. England are a very good team and lets face it look what happened to them. The first test was a hiding, the second test any team that scores 500 runs should win, they didn't. They would have beaten any team in the world.

Australia are the best team because they can beat any team both home and away on any surface against hostile crowds. that's the mark of a great team.

Australia is not unbeatable in Australia. I believe any team that consitantly performs the basics of the game to perfection during a test match will win, even if you are touring.

South Africa did it in Australia, although almost two decades ago, but it is possible. Look at India beating SA in SA.

I hope the team will be South Africa again, but then they have to really lift their game 110%.

If Australia were to name a second strength side to play against the current eleven, then they[the2nd 11] would have a chance.Aussie cricket is so strong at the moment that an Australia A side would win most series against other countries.
Warne out Macgill in
McGrath out Johnson in etc etc

WELL in recent times ENGLAND AND INDIA have been the only ones who have made australia shed blood on home soil...but england seem to have lost the hunger to win...so INDIA are my favorites....INDIA is a team that can be in a slump for a very long time and all of a sudden they can pull a miracle....outa thin air..

A combined World XI? On the other hand, with McGrath and Warne stepping out after the Ashes, any team has a better chance.

it takes a strong batting line up and a QUALITY spinner to beat aussies at home. i believe currently pakistan can offer this challenge, as danish kaneria is a world class spinner and they have a settled powerful batting line up lead by yousuf. second to them i would say india, based on what they did 3 years ago in australia, and they generally have a winning record against them overall recently. they have the 2nd strongest batting line up in the world, behind aussies, and kumble is still an excellent spinner.
