Oh, Definitely, buddy!!!
Nowadays, you can see Replica Cars made out of anything!
The only BAD thing is what is found UNDER THE HOOD....=)
The other Night I saw this Mustang being transformed into a Skyline...oh and what a Replica it was!
I am not completely sure of what type of Ferrari or Lamborghini this "Pontiac" can be known as the "Replica" of what...but I am pretty sure NOT a Lamborghini Murcielago =)
If Only WE can make this "Pontiac" into a freakin' ENZO...=)
IMPOSSIBLE to compare such a car to my BEAUTY OF CAR!!!
*wink*

Lou S you should keep your total NEGATIVE comments to yourself. You have obviously NO idea what your talking about. Have read NO material on the car or have NO factual information supporting your statements. Why don't you tell us all WHAT makes the Fiero junk? I will gladly prove you wrong if that is the attitude you have!
Not only is the Fiero NOT junk but they do perform rather well!! Although comparing it to a Ferrari or Lambo are high expectations... There ARE many kits for both available. Some you DO and some you do NOT have to stretch the frame for. I WOULD however suggest a engine swap. The power output for the 2.8l is rather sad and the L4 is pathetic (however it gets almost 40mpg). I have personally done a few 3800 Series II Supercharged V6 swaps and an aluminum block 4.9L V8.

Yes, you use the Fiero's mid-engine rwd chassis as the basis for a kit car. You buy a body conversion kit, which is a complete exterior shell that bolts onto the frame. It basically makes a fiero look like a lamborghini. But the good news is that a chevy 350 can be fitted into it, so you can get the zoom to go with the looks! I know they have lambo's, but unsure of ferrari or other makes.

The Fiero was not any version of a Ferrari - it was a commuter car. The first year Fiero only got the 2.5 4 cylinder motor getting into the high 30 MPG range. This is the only way GM brass would allow the car to be built. It used many existing parts from the Citation and Chevette (it did not use the Chevette dash). In 1985 the Fiero GT was introduced with the 2.8 V6. While it was not intended to perform better than the Ferrari 308, it did (look it up on the internet). Every year Fiero had a 5-star frontal and side impact rating. The only safer car in its class was a Volvo. By 1988 the Fiero got the suspension and brakes designed for it. It outperformed the supercharged MR2 and was faster around the track.

The Fiero was the preferred car to convert into a look alike Ferrari. To do the Lamborghini you normally needed to extend the frame rails, but again the fiero was the preferred car. The reason was it was an inexspensive mid-eingine sports car.

You would need to take drugs to be able to imagine that a Fiero could be anything more than junk! Most Fieros are where they belong in the junkyard.

Yes it is true, and to be honest with you (me being all about keeping it "real") i dont think its lame, its actually preatty cool. Here, ill give you a link to ebay where they are actually selling one. By the way there is a guy not far away from where I live that has one on his fiero, and it looks very clean.

Yes, it is called a "kit car". The kit is pretty expensive, and very labor intensive, since you basicly build the car from the groun up, kind of like a model.
