The best way to test this is to say it caused a lot of tension between me and It caused a lot of tension between I. Once you do this, it's easier to see which is correct.

It's the first one - my sister and me.

the first one is correct.....
coz it is the subject while caused a lot fof tension between my sister amd me is the predicate.....
and I is rarely used in predicates...........

"my sister and me" is correct as they are the objects of the propsition between.

between is a preposition, so "sister" and "me" would be the objects of the prep phrase.
go with "me"

'me' is correct - Oh and the word is 'grammatically' with a double 'm' :-)

the second one is correct...beacuse it is british english...the first one is used by the americans which is obviously incorrect..
