My server uses terminal services, I have a workgroup with about 40 computers listed, and 3 servers listed.
I don't want the workstations to have full access to those servers on the workstation. Only 1 folder on 1 of the servers.

I set up all the users with accounts on my servers, I'm trying to restrict them from seeing all but 1 folder on those servers.

how can this be done?

Think Permissions. Active Directory is not a bad choice either.
Good luck.

A TS user won't have any access to any system files and folders unless you grant them that access. The only way that they can do any harm is if you make them members of the Administrators group.

If you're running a workgroup with 40 clients, you are WAY past the point where you should have deployed Active Directory! Setting up duplicate user accounts on multiple servers is just plain DUMB!

I don't fully understand your question, but if you only want to allow access to one folder you set the NTFS permissions (file system being NTFS) to allow access to that folder only, if this is a share, make sure to also allow access in share permissions.
You can also use Active Directory to place all users in an OU and then set up a gpo to allow the users to see nothing but that folder on their desktop or something like that.

You'll need to setup Access-Based Enumeration and then set the group permission using the Security tab for each folder.

i dont imagine you'll be able to disable administrator expenses on any residing house windows gadget yet only for the sake of it, create yet another account with the wanted call. and then open the houses of the gang "directors" and upload the hot person to that team. Then go surfing with that person and take a verify out to delete administrator from administration panel, even although i doubnt it may artwork
