Generally speaking yes I do because it is good manners. When I sneeze I always say excuse me. Now if the person continues I try to lighten it up a bit by saying a sinus problem is a b*tch or weather got you down huh. I don't know of anyone that likes to sneeze.

I was told once, that when a person sneezes, that their heart stops for a split second, and that is why we say bless you. Now to make a long story short, I have always said bless you. Can't hurt.....right?

the explanation we are saying "Bless You" is by using the fact returned interior the midsection an prolonged time there became the black plague and human beings have been death left and correct. while somebody sneezed they seen that person to be on death's doorstep and that they stated "God Bless You" to rid themselves of any ailment they might have decreased in length. It became a ability of risk-free practices for them and that they concept extra suitable of that because of the fact the medical doctors in this time have been in actuality glorified butchers! desire that facilitates!

No - not ALWAYS.....my hubby has allergies and sneezes a lot -- I get tired of saying "bless you" all of the time. I get playfully mean sometimes and tell him to "knock it off". =) He knows I'm kidding him!

No, although it is very polite to do so, sometimes it can be annoying. Especially if someone has a cold and constantly sneezes.

I pretty much do unless someone is being a jerk, like my borther might be a jerk sometimes and he might sneeze and I won't say "Bless you"

No, many times I forget, but I would if I remembered. It's a good excuse to say "God bless you."
