Think about it, He walks to the ring talking trash just like Austin, he has this cheap imitation of the BMF walk that Austin made famous, and his in ring pose where he stands on the ropes and raises both his arms is also Stone Colds pose. No wonder the Kurt Angle gimmick isn't working, its nothing but a cheap imitation of the Stone Cold character with a dash of Kurts old Olympic hero gimmick.(and this coming from a guy who likes Kurt ).

Terrell I agree with you man, every wrestler has some imitation of another wrestler. Even Stone Cold bit off of the Sandman. But still, Stone Cold was just too damn popular to bite off and Kurt is acting just like him. And I know Austin wasn't the first to pose while standing on the turnbuckle ropes but, he was the first to use that "particular" pose and Angles is blatantly imiting it in TNA. In WWE he would not be allowed to use that pose because it too obvious that its Austins pose and the fans would catch on. I just think Kurt should be more creative, not to take anything away from his wrestling ablilty but i'm not impresses with his character development. I guess this is why WWE did find any problems with releasing him, after they tried all the could with the guy and he never got over like Austin or the rock.

I will have to disagree. Every wrestler but a select few are complete ripoffs of other wrestlers gimmicks. For example Hulk Hogan can be looked at as Superstar Billy Graham and The Body Ventura, or Ric Flair a clone of the Original Nature Boy, even Umaga...he rips off every damn Samoan I can think of. For me though Kurt Angle has sort of come into his own. I mean you have got to admit even though he jumped ship from WWE to TNA that guy is a damn wrestling machine. I don't know anyone that can go like he can at this point in time. He is nasty, meaner in my opinion than Stone Cold, a superior technical wrestler, and can get down with the brawling and dirty tactics. Stone Cold is not the first to stand on the ropes and give a victory pose, not the first to walk to the ring with a hard walk, and not the first to talk trash while walking to the ring. You may not be old enough to remember but there was a wrestler called Nikita Koloff (The Russian Nightmare) that did all that and he was bald to boot.

Kurt Angle's gimmick is an olympic medalist,Stone Cold's gimmick is a texan outlaw,so their gimmick is different.Kurt Angle is doing those things because that's what made Stone Cold famous and it's not trademark to Stone Cold. The only thing in common between those two is that they are bald.

I agree. he tries to be a badass but he still sucks! He could of been Champion and he quit to go to tna. and yet their ratings are still low.
