Live like there's no tommorrow??? What happens tommorrow when I've quit my job, smacked my boss in the chops, drunk my liver into a small pile of scar tissue and my man hood is dropping off from a heady mix of over use and V.D. and I blew my life savings on the craps table. Surley I should live like there is at least the weekend to think about???

Excellent points you make. I'd like to strive to not delay doing the things that are really important and meaningful to me, as if it were my last day. That would mean taking the time to play with my dog, tell my fiance how much he has added to my life or not passing up an opportunity to take a trip to a foreign country. That is quite different from indulging every passing whim or emotion with the almost certain knowledge you will actually live to regret your action.

That question is very deep! And that question can be answered from an infinite amount of different perspectives. I chose to comment on your question, because this is something that I have personally considering recently. But I believe that how you conduct your life hinges upon what you believe happens after your fleshly body has turned to dust.Do you believe we have a soul? Do you believe in God or a God? In my situation, I have given my soul to Jesus Christ, and I believe that my soul is saved through him, if I truly believe and try to live a life which pleases Him. However, my fleshly body is powerful and it is tempted to do many things which I know does not please God. When I stop to consider, if my life was over after today, I ask myself "Would I have regrets?" I don't worry about trying to experience life by what the world had to offer, by endulging in dangerous drugs or pushing life's limits in general. Though I do tend to spend money somewhat irresponsibly, knowing I can't take it with me. The most important thing to me is the relationships I have with my friends and family. I tend to say how I feel and keep these relationships real, because I would never want to leave this earth with any misunderstandings. the bottom line for me is that, we never know when our time is up, so we need to be responsible enough to plan for our future health and finances as we will possibly be old and frail, but at the same time, don't sweat the small stuff and worry what life we have left away, treat others with the respect we all deserve. Just don't take the life and gifts we have been given for granted.

Yes, all things in moderation, but live life to the fullest, don't miss a moment (no lazing around in bed, wasting half the day) and whilst it is great to have some fun, think also of those who might appreciate your help at home, so that they can have some fun too over the coming festive season. Happy Christmas.

lol. i think you should live without fear and enjoy life, and do things on impulse. carpe diem brother! however, every day in your life, apart from one day, youre not going to die the next day. therefore you shouldnt live every day as if it were your last.
