You have a large company.....just assume ok

Company code : A number that identifies a company within a group of companies.

Profit center : Think of an individual department in a company. Its own accounts, what it buys/sells/produces will have its own set of accounts. (but still linked to the company accounts)

Cost Center : More or less the same as profit centre. Depends on how the accounts are set up.

Storage location : You make televisions. You have 20000 diffeternt parts for different models all over the place. Wouldnt you like to know each 'storage location'?

Batch : You make televisions. You make 100 at a time. The first 100 was batch 1. the second 100 was batch 2.

Good reason for this. Customer complains about a tv. The wiring is bad. You see its batch 50 so you recall all the tvs in batch 50.

OK : The answers are simplified (esp cost/profit center) but thats about it.
