what it means to me is, in the 80's, which was when the song came out, most people didn't work on Sundays, so you could sleep in, and take everything nice and slow, because you're not working, there's no rush for anything ..:)

Most people don't work on Sunday morning and it's typically a day of rest so when you're really relaxed you're easy like sunday morning....so high.....so high.
