An MPA in private sector jobs might have the most benefit in consulting, management positions in some fields, non-profits. The main value is to government-related work.

Try an MBA, which can provide credentials and education for both private and public sector positions. You could probably do some Public Administration courses as electives.

A Public Administration degree would get you a job in the public sector, like state or local government, and it would advance your career in that sector. If you want a management position in the private sector, you'd be better off getting a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in Management.
