I think you can serve anything you want for Christmas dinner. Christmas is not a certain meal. It's a time to come together and remember what Christmas is for. A time for family to come together in fellowship. A time to remember the birth and sacrifice of Jesus Christ. A time to celebrate together. That celebration can be marked anyway you want. My family and I sometimes barbecued and had brisket, ribs, potato salad, beans, cole slaw, rolls, and the like for Christmas. Why? Because we like it. I say, go ahead. Make the pork chops. And celebrate what Christmas means to you.

sure, Christmas is not exactly like Thanksgiving, where most people have turkey. Ham is the most popular, but I think anything goes. Have the pork chops, sounds good!!~~ Go for it!!
Merry Christmas
Bon Appetit

More appropriate than at Hanukkah, that's for sure!
Seriously, if prepared elegantly then why not? There are plenty of seasonal and delicious recipes for pork chops...like chops with cranberry chutney or stuffed chops with wild rice and saffron, etc. Yum!

uuumm not typical christmas dinner, but people are doing some off the wall things in recenet years. ask your people. if they are fine with it then have the pork chops. everyone likes them unless they dont have tastebuds, but people are usually after turkey or ham. i know that i would be disappointed if there was only pork chops

I dont think PORK CHOPS would be appropriate for Christmas dinner becuase pigs have a central nervous system that makes them aware of life, death and pain. Plants and eggs do not have a central nervous system eventhough they are alive. They do not have a sense of thier own life, death or pain. So as far as possible, please avoid using things that have a central nervous system for your diet.

Sure. Why not? I'd be thrilled if my dad made pork chops instead of the usual turkey.

Pork Chops and Apple Sauce. You must be in the Brady household.
I'll take a pass on that thanks.
