Love and Compassion is what motivated, Jesus, Mohammed, Budda, Mother Theresa, Ghandi, and millions of minor and everyday saints who each day do things out of love for their fellow man and compassion for their suffering. Look at the outpouring of support the world offers in times of great tradedy and disaster. No good deed leaved the giver and the receiver unchanged. Think of Portias speech in The Merchant of Venice, "The quality of mercy is not strained, it falls gently as rain from heaven, and on the place beneath it is twice blessed , for it blesses him that gives and he who recieves". Because love and compassion are gentle they are whispers while hate and cruelty are shouts. We notice the latter because they are so loud and vulgar, we realize the latter happened only in retrospect. A whisper can be just as strong as a scream.

no. when you are talking about change you are talking about the most difficult thing in teh world. sure they can be a part of it, but the problem with the worl today is people reliance on an easy awnser, like love to solve a problem. you need a mix of love, compassion, willingness, perception, understanding, empathy, patience, common sense, hope, faith, stamina, and the willingness to listen.

It depends on what you want to change. If you mean the way you deal with life. This might help a little. I have found that in my 40 years on this planet most people hate somthing and won't change their feelings about it.
