This is my second child so i know that its not early labour, it feels like the baby is sat on a nerve or something.

Its stretching tendons. You can not have had them with one pregnancy, and get them with another. Each pregnancy is different.

Theyre really quite painful and unplesant, but theyre normal and they get progressively better for a while, and then stretch again and hurt.

Perfectly normal.

I get sharp pains on the sides of my tummy when i stand or move a certain way. It is me stretching out and growing... sometimes I am scared to strech or exercise, lol.

My doctor told me that with each pregnancy the stretching ligaments can get more painful.

Could be ligament pains which are truly painful but it is always good to check with your OBGYN to be sure all is well.

OMG! ASK YOUR DOCTOR NOT THESE PEOPLE!!!! it could be a number of things, go see the doctor! there are so many complications that could occur in a pregnancy! be healthy lots and lots of water! fruits n veggies!
