Hard Hat Mack, on the Apple IIe, in the school library, when I was in Grade 6 (December 1983).
I still play it on an Apple emulator.

...now that I think about it, I remember playing Haunted House on the Atari at the home of one of my late grandmother's neighbors. It could have been 1980 or 1981. Maybe it doesn't count, because I was mostly watching, and not really playing.

I remember hearing some strange noises coming from the tv in my brothers room. I was probably 10. I went in there and it was a black screen with a ball bouncing all over the screen. He said he was playing "pong". There were two pong joysticks hooked up to it, and we played against eachother for weeks. I think that was the only game it played. It was real old, even when we were playing it.

First system I ever played on was the ZX81 made by Sinclair in 1981, at a friends house in New Zealand. They had brickbat and a couple other games and I was hooked. the Commodore 64 was probably the next one I saw, they had the first text based adventure games with N S E W directions and simple commands. My father built a home system that played a reaaaaallly cheesy version of tennis with the square ball that went back and forth on the TV screen lol but I loved it back then. We also had Apple IIe in HS back in 1983, my fave there was Taipan, a shipping/trading game where you built up a fleet of boats. The first computer i ever bought myself was Amiga 500 and the game Civilization just seemed so awesome.... I laugh now to remember how slow that was... now I just play Everquest on the PC, something that has also come along way from the day of blocky ugly graphics.

Pong on Atari - Don't even remember how long ago that was but I wish I still had the old system. It was on of the first Atari systems and a classic now.

The Very First video game I had ever played was Super Mario Bros. For Nintendo. At the time, we were in the nintendo era, which was about in 1992. I still play the game to keep my skills sharp. This game is an official Hall of Fame game.

I played some games on the old Apple computers, but I won't count them since I don't really remember the names...
...so I guess that would make Sonic on Saga/ Mario or Duck Hunt on Nintendo.
That was around 2nd or 3rd grade (early 90's).

large Mario Brothers on the unique NES. I used to have loopy Taxi for the DC, that develop right into a large activity (till my DC broke :-P)... nevertheless no longer some thing compares to the arcade adventure for Taxi!
