While doing some last-minute holiday grocery shopping I saw a young man steal a case of Enfamil, run out of the market, get into a black Lexus, and speed away. Security chased him but they were too slow to catch him.

You should live around where I live -
Lean to shacks with a family of four or more living inside but when you see them walk out - ou see all the gold chains and Tommy Hilfiger clothes and a BMW or Benz in the driveway - Cell phones for everyone in the family - but they are on welfare and assisted housing and who knows what other assistance...
Yet those of us who are single parents and honestly trying to provide the best life and struggle everyone once in a great while - we qualify for nothing and almost lose our roofs over our heades trying to give our children what they deserve -
And dont get me started on trying enforce Child support - Somehow it seems now that the unsupportive parent who does not pay and does not visit walks out of court smelling like roses but the child has absolutely no rights what so ever!!!!
Sorry but this is a very touchy subject with me right now!
Have a wonderful Holiday!

There is no logical explanation for this. I dont know how these people do it. I used to have a friend who had 6 people living in a rented house, and only her mother had a job. They were always complaining how they had no money, and could barely afford their rent, but somehow they managed to have all the luxuries that my family couldnt afford and both of my parents have decent-paying jobs and me going to school and working full time. If anyone knows the secret to this, please let me know!

well, one of my best friends is a shopping addict. she has a 6 month old baby with a wardrobe bigger than mine. this non walking baby must have 30 pairs of shoes. anyways i went over one day and she was feeding her daughter cow's milk. i was like why are u doing that? she was like my sister used up all of my formula for her baby and now i don't have any more formula and no money to buy her any. i found it funny that she can afford all the clothes but not formula.

Open your mind! Maybe it was'nt HIS Lexus, or maybe they paid the bills and so happen to have gone overboard with milk consumption this month, maybe the chikds mother abandoned it and the father had to find means to get milk, maybe, maybe, maybe. Least he was stealing baby milk as opposed to magazines or video tapes. It must have been a dire situation. Don't be so quick ot judge!

Some people just have priority issues. I know that in the South it is more important to drive nice cars than to live in a house that is functional (not for me). I haven't quite understood the thought process of the people who drie expensive cars and get welfare. TRUTH is .... it's the goverments fault.

Hmm...could be a case of that's how he's financing his car...stealing the formula and then selling it at a high cost. Nothing surprises me. Of course, who's to say the Lexus wasn't also stolen.

Ok these are my answers:
1.he saves up all of his money for the Lexus and didn't have enough money for things that really matter in his life.
2. Hey might just shoplift for the trill of it and can't stop.
or
3. He might have been raised to get stuff that he wants and doesn't need.

Well have you ever heard of the welfare cadillac? if not they have moved up to the lexus.
Many many times I have wittnessed people buying great grades of meat and other staples with their grocery cart full. Then at cheack out they pay with food assistance, go out and get into a much better car than I could afford.

Easy! Material posessions are more important to some people than the welfare of a child.
