I would pick Ville Valo for singer, Tom Chaplin for back up singer, Billy Martin and C.C. Deville for guitarist, Travis Barker for drummer, and Paul Thomas for Bass

Santana, and Eric Clapton for the guitars. Amy Lee, Chad Kroger (I think that's how you spell his name) for vocals. Nick Mason for drums, he is from Pink Floyd if you were wondering. Adam Clayton for bass.... That would be my mellow band.
Going for a dark sound, I would choose...
Peter Tagtgren, Darron Malakian for guitars. Chester Bennington, and Darron Malakian for vocals. Lars Ulrich for drums. And Rex Brown, from Pantera, for bass.

Man I would just stick with the orignal Guns'n'Roses although I would make Axel stop being such a Diva. Man if I can have a fantasy group like that I would make it so that the others could stand to work with him. Now think about this when you pick C.C. remember he was alot of what broke up Poison because he wanted to be lead singer. Actually come to think of it not sure if I would pick the orginal G'n'R as they did change some members, I would have to decide which members I wanted.

Adam Lazzara would be the lead singer, Matt Friction would sing backup, Ray Toro and Michael Paget on guitar, Bob Ferrari on drums, and Grant Brandell for bass....
I'm not very good at this, something bad would happen if all of those people were put together, but it might sound okay. (well, maybe not)

Depends on the genre of music I were aiming for. As for metal, this would be my lineup:
Lead vocals: Maynord from Tool
Backup vocals: Howard from Killswitch Engage
Lead Guitar: Synyster from Avenged Sevenfold
Rhythm Guitar: Adam from Killswitch Engage
